I am an emergency physician in Alabama, but I have two podcasts: The Brain Science Podcast and Books and Ideas. My passions are podcasting, tennis, and my golden retrievers.

I started podcasting in 2006 and I have discovered that I have a passion for sharing science and other ideas. I enjoy explaining complex ideas to regular people and podcasting has helped me to become skilled at interviewing people from a wide variety of fields. I would like to use these skills to build a career in broadcasting or science journalism.
